First Meeting
At Emel Recruitment, we arrange one-to-one career planning meetings to fully understand each client’s background, qualifications and long-term ambitions. These meetings give individuals the opportunity to explore realistic pathways within the adult education sector, whether that’s moving into a Tutor role, progressing into IAG, or stepping into curriculum, quality or leadership positions.
During the meeting, we review teaching experience, industry expertise, CPD, and knowledge of funding streams such as those governed by the Education and Skills Funding Agency. We also discuss compliance requirements, safeguarding expectations, and employer standards within colleges and training providers.
Importantly, these conversations are not just about securing the next job — they are about building a long-term career plan. We identify any gaps in qualifications, suggest professional development opportunities, and agree practical next steps, taking a consultative and supportive approach.
